Water quality of tap water in the Valls
In my capacity as president, I wrote to our water supplier Ancusa to get a statement on whether our tap water is drinkable. I also asked for the water values.
Here is the answer from Ancusa:
Buenos días.
El agua de Calas de Mallorca SI ES POTABLE y de muy buena calidad, por lo que se puede beber
El agua se trae de nuestros pozos, cerca de la montaña de San Salvador de Felanitx.
No tenemos los pozos cerca de la costa, como si es el caso de Cala Murada que tiene el agua muy salada y no es apta para su consumo.
Si quiere verificar el estado de las aguas. puede entrar en el https://sinac.sanidad.gob.es/ pagina del Ministerio de Sanidad y Consumo.

Good morning.
The water in Calas de Mallorca IS DRINKABLE and of very good quality, so you can drink it.
The water is brought from our wells, near the mountain of San Salvador de Felanitx.
We do not have wells near the coast, as is the case in Cala Murada, which has very salty water and is not suitable for drinking.
