Pool rules at corona times

our pool is ready and we can use it.

We inform you that, for the time being, the “new normality” establishes that the subject of swimming pools will be regulated by the autonomous communities.
Below is a summary of the most important points.

In the BOIB, on Saturday the following has been published:

3. Swimming pools

• The recreational or sports swimming pools, whether open-air or indoor, must comply with the 75 % capacity limit, both as regards access and during the actual practice of sport or leisure. Private swimming pools for family use are exempted from this restriction.
• Visible signs or other means of information must be posted to remind people of the hygiene and prevention rules that must be observed.
• Without prejudice to the application of the technical-sanitary regulations in force, in swimming pools for collective use, the cleaning and disinfection of the facilities must be carried out with special attention to closed spaces, such as changing rooms or bathrooms, prior to the opening of each day.
• The use of showers is permitted, with a maximum occupation of one person, except in the case of people who may require assistance.
• Hotel and catering activities on the beaches, including those in open-air facilities, must comply with the provisions of section XII.1 of this plan.

Attached is the protocol found at the Conselleria de Salut with respect to owner-occupied swimming pools. It is previous to the “new normality”, but the only thing that changes is the capacity that goes from 30% to 75% as long as the safety distance of 1.5 meters can be maintained (before it was 2 meters).

If this safety distance cannot be maintained, the capacity will have to be adapted to the necessary number of people with whom the safety distance can be guaranteed.
